Artists' Materials & Framing in St. Paul, MN

Week 11: On Point-illism

Get ready to test your perceptions as we take inspiration from Georges Seurat and Vincent Van Gogh’s Pointillist period (Ha!).  Layer light to dark dots as you would with a watercolor, but don’t worry about staying within the lines, ‘cuz there are none!  Mix colors by layering your colored points. Take your sketchbook to your neighborhood park like Georges, or stay in an try a portrait like Vincent.  We recommend using a young artist style marker, in case you get a little heavy handed and squish the tip, or try a refillable marker where the tips can be replaced.

Pick a point with all our markers currently 15% off our everyday price thru the end of April, including sets!
